We all know that finishing the story is only the first lap of a marathon… and some of us aren’t great at long distance.
However, I have found that as many do, teamwork makes the dream work, and I am fortunate enough to have someone who I respect enough as a literary peer to both review AND manage my works. He is of great humility, but also exemplary as chinese jade: therefore, while he has tentatively accepted my proposal, he wishes for no reward. Naturally, I shall merely have to give him “gifts” until the day comes that he is placed formally on retainer (by me, for me, with me!)
Although it is not my intention, this particular talented peer has a great deal of zest for informational congruence, and as such, while he may not always be able to comprehend my intellectual depths, I fully trust him to provide editing and also offer perspectives on what the layman might consider when perusing my works.
Master Tyler, if you are reading this, Know that this was always part of the plan- some might call it… Fate.
