Today I realised that I could buy the rolls I loved eating for $4 [for a half dozen]. I got a lot more than I should have, as I enjoy them fresh, but shared one with some gulls. I would have enjoyed eating them, if I had the appropriate beverage and salty side, but to be fair, I had been drinking litres of soup since the day before. The soup was good, and I am happy with the stick blender I procured specifically for that dish… i will no doubt make more in future.
But as to the bread rolls- i packed 2 for me to enjoy earlier, but I should have brought more as they are not very dense, which is partly why I enjoy them. I’m looking forward to finishing off the soup, and then eating more bread rolls.
I plan to visit Coles later, so I can stock up on various non essentials, and I think that I can spend $90, with $35 of that total being chocolate, in order to score points for my card. I even have all the gift vouchers I require! Speaking of which, I made that offer to all my colleagues, as their cost of living lamentations made me think that I am actually fortunate to live so cheaply in comparison.
I think the bread actually might not be something I can handle as well as I used to, which is terribly unfortunate, but I am also going to experiment with another “vitamin” for my supersoldier body- Baxter Stockman!!!!
