While I have almost fonished crafting my “Annatar, For the Greater Good” deck, with Sauron the Dark Lord as my commander, I been drawn by an obsession, a voice calling to me, to craft other MTG decks, which I could do so for my friends… I suppose that is how temptation works, with good intentions and justifications. After all, Sauron was not always evil, and appeared Fair and Mighty to Middle Earth before his reveal.
It started with the tweaking.
The drive to perfect my commander deck. And in time. I WAS satisfied with it. Yet, the more I poured my creative energy into it, the more I realised that the crafting itself was born of a hole inside me, one that was urging me to design a gate to contain those forces, keep them at bay.
So when I found an offer for a bulk box of commons and uncommons on Ebay, I was somewhat reserved but intrigued by what lay within. Eventually, I made an offer that could determine if I purchase it, or if Fate will steer my path away from the MTG set. The Lord of The Rings set has had a greater pull on me than the Bloomburrow set, and I suppose that the fixation must come to an end sooner or later, despite my devouring of MTG content since I returned from the Western Capital…
I have enough, I am content, but I would also enjoy building more decks to give away. Even Jake would recieve a deck, if I manage to build one for him by the time I see him next year. His commander?
Gandalf the Grey.

For the others, at Green Chripractic, I wonder what to build, and which commanders to procure?
Reed is an elf, maybe Elrond.
Steve is man, Boromir? I would say Isildur, but I doubt Isildur exists as a commander.
Bucky is a dwarf, I wonder what dwarvish commanders exist?
