With the Advent of October, the 10th Month, I am also wrapping up my loose ends from the last Zodiac Arc…
Paid off most debts that were lingering- it’s quite unreal to think that Master Tyler has [finally] been repaid, for he has been my strongest financial backer since we met. Everyone else has also received a drop of the vintage, if I were to borrow Bilbo’s words. It was truly a wonderful farewell.
I often wondered what life would be like if I made myself a priority, and soon I will not need to wonder, but experience.
By the end of the month, my PoGO commitments should be handled. No Rise Of Kingdoms has already had a background effect, though I do not know it completely, and my city has been blessed by a coup de grace reminiscent of my first city incursion. I am pretty sure I hit over 80 million power at my peak, which is nothing grand but decent for a veteran.
I guess the way forward is to move on with my Opus Magnum, and become the embodiment of Power, even though I’m already quite satisfied from a mortal perspective.
There is a sort of beauty in seeing the overall progression of everything around you, and I have been able to evolve past my previous limits in unexpected/unforeseen manners that nonetheless make perfect sense. I have overcome the need for friends and family, love and hate, start and finish, support and drive- everything is the Tao.
My adventures are not finished, of course, but I am ready to complete my main Quest Line. For a while, my focus will be on finishing my books, eliminating my loans, improving my martial arts, and taking care of those who need it most i.e my family, and potentially my youngest disciple. We [all 3 disciples and I] still need to meet in Japan once more, with which we embark upon a new milestone.
Of course, in a few years, I’ll be back to see how the next generation of stories will develop!
