I remember, years ago, so long ago in fact that I am quite unrecognisable from then- negative emotions made me ill, and I was forced to process toxins for a greater good. But I did not dwell in despair, and resolved to adapt myself, though the process would take time.
In essence, I had to modify myself to handle negative emotions, collect negative emotions, store and analyse them, and then develop a way to metabolise the negativity without succumbing to the side effects of consuming negative emotions.
My latest implementation has left me feeling surprisingly invigorated, and while I continue to monitor the results, I am quite pleased with how the entire project has come along.

A part of me understands how easy it is more ascended beings to look down upon lesser beings. Another understands the mindset required for immortality, and that is to be indifferent/impervious to human emotions. Or as Jiang Xie would say, base emotions. Sheng Lang would understand this too, though he chose to find a utopian path that ultimately detached himself nonetheless.
In this sense, I too must undertake the steps necessary to transition into Ascendency.
What is Ultimate Evil? Denying true nature. But evil, just like love, is necessary… Love, just like evil, is necessary to grow.
I have made my choice to be free, breaking the shackles which bind the present from the Future, and I will have done so in my own way, to my own temperament. Instead of destructive release, I created a door. In the future, I will use this when I counsel angsty kids.
