Just… wow.
A young man is wrongfully imprisoned, and 17 years later is released. His family has gone through much. His friends have become different people. His True Love moved on [reluctantly]. Our poor MC was so wholesome before prison. Now, he is slowly decomposing on the inside… how will he deal with the deluge of complex emotions/circumstances?
It’s one of those stories that know how to layer the ups and downs in dealing with trauma. Written beautifully, and punctuated with just the right combination of tone shifts. Art style is bold and evocative- not mainstream, but definitely satisfying.
I can’t find a physical English copy of the finished work for purchase, but I damn well want to donate to the author!!!!
