I have recently been interested in making soup, which started out because I had leftover bread and cheese.
A delicious wild soup was prepared with all manner of ingredients, and i wished to share this soup with my loved ones, one day.
My next soup, to be prepared in a day or so, will have onions, mushrooms, carrots, leek(?), goat and beef (despite technically being a vegetarian now, I feel that they belong to the dish), beans, and… barley? What else do I fancy?? Hmm, these ingredients could easily be a pie… once more, will I add cream this time? A forever pot of stew is something I could see becoming a staple in times of agrarian subsistence, where a steady supply of wood and the ability to reuse ingredients without worrying about spoilage is idyllic…
