To my endearing audience. I have enjoyed speaking to you since transitioning to the online journal format, and wish you a happy Chinese new year, which I completely forgot to check during these hectic two weeks. That is what happens when one leaves to make a new home in a new town. Speaking of which, there’s no china town here- i feel like I am back 20 years in the western capital!
It is my birthday soon, during the new year period, and I had hoped to be in a good financial situation by then. To be honest, am I in a better position than a year ago? Oh yes. Career wise, I am in a job that can take me all the way to retirement, if I stay long enough. Even if I left today, it would still have been worth it.
By the time of my birthday, or days afterwards at the latest, I will have a new home, money, stable and prestigious career, and I’m in a better position to help others compared to my old powers. I consider now, that if I were to evaluate myself compared to my past self:
Money: Good foundation, once crops harvested. My first pay check on the job,with all my bonuses? It’ll be sufficient for myself, and those I cover.
Prospects: Much better. I have attained a level of prestige that is significant for my family history.
Socialships: I have true friends, and a better sense of who is important. I have also made my peace with the mistakes of the past.

New career, to take up my office as a public official.
Remove the growths in DNA coral on hand. I must be decisive regarding the corruption. A few days of dedicated cultivation to remove them should suffice, and I have a few days upcoming… a sign that I have found resolve once more.
Next 10 days before my Birthday, I must practice rejuvenation.
Write a Panegyric and Exegesis for self. “The 20th Century’s Last Renaissance Man”. It’ll be my birthday piece.
