Reflections on a Milestone

I should start by mourning my discarded clothes- there’s no collection bin, so I chose to recycle them…

I have some much with me, which I had planned to take back home with a trip home that never eventuated, and thus I must employ my tetris skills as well as minimalism. This would not have been a problem if I had been truly able to discard all but my most essential possessions… so when I attempted to use up my remaining shampoo etc maturely, I regained the child like joy of pretending to be a wizard and mixing a potion in the bath tub!

I received my token of authority today, and made my peace with the actual mission I began in my late teens (see Sima Yu below).

Imagine if I had to go home today? I’m not at that level of optimisation yet…

I’ve still got to dispose of more item, and covertly deliver the treats. However, as I have to speak with the nice lunchlady girl, I will do it at 5am instead. Plenty of time! Then back to bed for a nap before leaving to the airport early.

Packing is something I should have down by now, but I suppose it’s understandable considering how much stuff I was bequeathed by my lords.

Looks like Itachi!
An auspicious day, for an auspicious year
