Perhaps the Germans have a word for “The realisation that you have accomplished what you never had the chance to do properly before and attain a prestigious achievement that overshadows failures of your past”?
Perhaps one could call it a career based orgasm? Or more like the feeling of being whole once more.
I feel like a ghost who had unfinished business, and managed to see it resolved, confirming and affirming the promises made to a younger Me.
Not just what has happened in recent times, but also the perspective of everything that I managed to accomplish so far…
