“The NPCs in my Sim Game are actually Alive!” Manga review
The links above are to my first review, as well as the full recap. I have now finished the manga, and wanted to discuss a point that strongly resonates with me…
Firstly, something we can identify with. Hahaha! But now, to something that I identify with:
Remember the work friend our MC made, and who we suspected of being another Player? Yep, he was the antithesis antagonist all along. Unknown to both of them! What a twist.
Spoilers: he’s a good guy, and is only the Villain in game. In fact, he gets a karmic tabula rasa, which made me grateful that the narrative was actually well thought out.
On that topic, however, I wanted to bring up our Villain’s backstory, and how I can say I’ve been in his shoes too… My question now is, what would YOU do if you were the MC?
They both have a heart to heart, where it is revealed how one sees it a merely a money making game, while the other views it as real life. For both of them, they are justified in how they play the game, and there’s a delicious moral grey area regarding the premise.
